Tour of the west

We start the tour with a pick up from your hotel or the port.
An English speaking driver driver will pick you up with a really nice, clean, comfortable and safe vehicle.
Our first stop will be the old town of Rethymnon , a micrography of Chania which we will continue to afterwards. Apart from Venetian monuments and the old town you can have a look over the shoulder of the oldest baker in town making the delicous Greek sweets Kataifi and Baklava.

Continuing our tour we will stop at an olive oil factory to see how the famous delicious greek olive oil is made and try the Cretan Raki. You will even have the chance to buy some oil, traditional herbs and honey so you can take a piece Crete back home with you.

Worth a stop is as well the grave of the one of the most famous Cretans, former president of Greece Eleftherios Venizelos from where you have a stunning view over ancient city of Chania.

After having enjoyed the city from above we will stop there and give you the chance to visit the Cathedral and one of the Mosques from the Ottoman time right at the port with it’s famous lighthouse.
