The tour

We start the tour with a pick up from your hotel or the port.
An English speaking driver driver will pick you up with a really nice, clean, comfortable and safe vehicle.
Starting our tour we will head to the archeological site of Festos with a stunning panorama view of the mountains and the coast with the shimmering sea.
The next stop will be the archeological site of Gortis where the ancient Greeks wrote down the first laws.

After the historical part of our excursion we will go on to see the colorful and famous hippie town of Matala in the South of the island. Apart from nice shopping possibilities you can enjoy the beach and climb to the caves the hippies lived in during the 70s.
On our way back there is the possibility to stop at a donkey rescue center to get in touch with the peaceful animals that are shown on many postcards.
